What sort of work? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Assistant to join our HR team, based in our Exeter office.
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Firm in relation to our overall people strategy and assist the HR team in delivering an excellent service to our people. Other duties will include:
1. Providing a full and comprehensive administrative support to the team, including:
2. Updating our HR system
3. Assisting with payroll changes and processing starter and leaver paperwork
4. Communicating with colleagues on a range of confidential matters
5. Dealing with enquiries to our HR mailbox
6. Supporting HR Business Partners and Advisors with the administration of employee lifecycle matters
7. Recruitment onboarding, working with colleagues to progress offer documentation and onboarding activities
8. Assisting the team with organising assessment centres and interviews
9. Supporting the administration of our early careers and trainee programmes
10. Supporting the smooth and effective running of our assessment days, work experience, training and development programmes
11. Preparing and analysis of management information to include data inputting and data reporting
12. Advertising and promoting our vacancies on our website and LinkedIn

Who are we looking for? We are looking for somebody who will understand our values and thrive in our culture. The role will be based in our Exeter office, with occasional travel between our other offices as required. The ideal candidate will have:
1. Previous administration experience in an HR team
2. Excellent IT skills in particular MS Office
3. Knowledge of HR databases and reporting tools
4. IT literacy and the enthusiasm to learn new software packages quickly
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to build positive relationships with stakeholders
6. The desire to be a great team player and be self-motivated to work towards goals with enthusiasm
7. The ability to organise and prioritise their own work load and independently resolve issues
8. The ability to cope well under pressure and has a pro-active approach
9. A thorough approach, with excellent attention to detail
10. The ability to work under own initiative
11. Excellent organisational skills, able to multi-task and juggle competing priorities
12. The flexibility to adapt to changing demands
