My client is currently looking to recruit an outstanding Semi Senior Accountant who is willing to continually work in a proactive manner in order to help their clients succeed, this is on behalf of a well-established Top 75 firm.
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who not only has experience of working in a semi senior role but who is also able to work as part of a team and also on their own initiative. Be self-motivated and confident in their job role.
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of limited company accounts and corporation tax computations
* Preparation of accounts for sole traders and partnerships
* Preparation of personal tax returns
* Preparation and review of VAT returns and dealing with VAT queries
* Preparation of management accounts
* Dealing with general business enquiries from clients
Key Skills/Requirements:
* Must have at least 6 years’ experience of working in an accountancy practice
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and a professional approach to clients
* IT literate including Microsoft Office
* Previous experience of using Iris, QuickBooks and Sage software would be a strong advantage
