Are you an experienced Data and Attendance Officer looking for a new opportunity in Birmingham?
Winner Education are working closely with a school in South Birmingham in assisting them with the recruitment of a School Data and Attendance Officer. The role is full time, up to 37.5 hours a week. You will be required to start immediately on a long term placement with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Day to day attendance monitoring
Updating student records
Previous experience using SIMS software system
Supporting students and families regarding attendance issues
Liaising student parents/guardians to verify student absences
Monitoring and enforcing school attendance policies
Maintain accurate pupil attendance records
Provide administrative support as and when required
Produce pupil attendance reports
Provide cover on main school reception as and when required
Present data to senior leaders
Attend management meetings when required
The Successful School Data and Attendance Officer will:
Need to be highly organised
Have excellent interpersonal skills
Have previous school attendance/administration experience
Be highly motivated, professional and forward thinking
Have proficient computer skills including experience with SIMS
Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
Be able to form positive relationships with all staff and parents
Require knowledge of school attendance procedures
