We are currently hiring for a Marketing Assistant to join a growing, progressive firm based in Somerset and Dorset. In this position, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Business Development team, helping to drive brand growth and engaging new clients across multiple platforms.
As a Marketing Assistant, you'll be working closely with the Business Development team to execute marketing strategies and elevate the company's profile.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Assisting in the planning and execution of both digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
2. Managing and updating the company's website and social media channels.
3. Creating engaging marketing materials, including newsletters, brochures, and email campaigns.
4. Supporting event planning and logistics for seminars, webinars, and networking events.
5. Conducting market research to identify new opportunities and inform campaign strategy.
The skills and experience you'll bring to the team:
1. Proven experience in a marketing role or a related degree/apprenticeship.
2. Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
3. Demonstrable content creation skills (e.g., blogs, social media posts).
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with design tools like Indesign, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite.
5. A positive, proactive approach with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
6. This role would be well suited to a passionate and creative person, keen to bring their own ideas and initiative.
