Job Description The role of the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor involves ensuring that the company maintains full compliance with all NICEIC accreditation standards. You will be responsible for communicating these requirements to both the Management and Site Operations teams. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring that all required NICEIC certification is completed and issued in a timely manner to support project completion and inclusion within O&M manuals. Acting as the ‘Qualifying Supervisor’ as defined by the NICEIC and liaising directly with the organization to ensure compliance with all regulations. Monitoring certification and ensuring inspection and testing results are recorded accurately. Conducting site surveys to assess compliance and quality, ensuring that electrical installations meet the latest IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 and NICEIC standards. Producing detailed reports from site surveys and communicating necessary actions to the project team to ensure any issues are addressed before project handover. Verifying and inspecting electrical certifications issued by the company's engineers and subcontractors to ensure they meet BS7671 qualification and NICEIC standards. Assisting with electrical testing and audits as required to ensure the timely and accurate completion of certifications. Qualifications Qualified electrician with valid 2360 Part 1&2 / 2330 Level 2&3, including EAS-approved craft qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent). IET Wiring Regulations, 18th Edition, BS 7671: 2018 C&G 2382-18 or later, including any recent amendments. Electrical Inspection and Testing C&G 2391 or equivalent. Previous experience as an NICEIC Qualified Supervisor. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both staff and contractors. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
