We currently have a 37 hour per week vacancy for a Team Leader to join Valley Road, Northallerton. You will work as part of a management team of 5 Team Leaders and the Registered Manager.
Valley Road is a Short Breaks and day service that plays a vital role in offering short break stays to a range of people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and autism. We support guests and their families primarily living in the North of the County.
We believe that everyone has the right to an independent and fulfilling life, and our short stay service will enable people and their families to build skills, develop confidence, and give people the opportunity to maximise their wellbeing through person-centred approaches.
As a Team Leader, reporting directly to the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the direct care and support provided by a team of Learning Disability Care professionals within the service is safe, effective, responsive, caring, and well-led, and complies with both the Care Quality Commission regulated activities and North Yorkshire Council policies and procedures.

Whilst we require an NVQ Level 3 in Care/Promoting Independence or QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, we will support those who have a minimum of NVQ Level 2 Care/Promoting Independence or QCF Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care to achieve the Level 3.
We can offer you the opportunity to:
* Access further training and development
* Work for a leading care employer
