As we expand our revolutionary service capabilities across autonomous surface and subsea robotics on an international scale, we seek a talented and driven Geospatial Data Analyst to elevate our project modelling, planning, and execution to new heights. Main Responsibilities:
Model Development
Collate and refine wind, tide, and wave models for both existing and planned offshore renewable sites.
Data Analysis
Conduct detailed analysis of geospatial data to support operational decision-making, enhance project accuracy, and optimize resource allocation.
Collaboration
Work closely with operations, finance, and tendering teams to continually assess and improve the accuracy of predictive models.
Reporting
Generate comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
Innovation
Stay updated with the latest geospatial and environmental data technologies to integrate into Beam's service offerings.
You should apply if you have:
Essential:
* Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, Oceanography, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
* Strong experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R).
* Understanding of marine environments, offshore wind energy, and related geospatial data.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in the renewable energy sector or similar field is desirable
