We are pleased to announce that we have created a new team to provide support and knowledge to our service teams across each site – introducing the Hendy Service Support Team!
We have a rare opportunity for a team of Service Support Specialists to join our Service directorate where you will hold an essential role in working across Hendy Service departments to ensure that colleague and customer experience, along with commercial performance, is maintained by providing cover at sites when required.
Due to the nature of the role, flexibility and frequent travel across your base region will be required. All travel expenses including hotels, dinner/breakfast and business mileage will be covered.
The Opportunity:
In this role, you will:
1. Exhibit positive work ethic at all times, acting as a role model to the Service teams;
2. Complete all accountabilities of a Customer Service Specialist;
3. Have a comprehensive understanding of Service processes including Group Service programs;
4. Be highly adept at navigating workplace challenges with ease and have a composed approach;
5. Be confident to step in as a leader, when required, to support Service department’s front desks;
6. Able to coach Service Advisors and Specialists in carrying out their role;
7. Assist the Service Manager with day-to-day duties;
8. Strengthen the on-site team to maintain excellent levels of customer service and supporting them to achieve outstanding customer feedback across multiple domains;
9. Be able to mitigate escalation of customer complaints and facilitate a positive outcome;
10. Work collaboratively with teams across the business, building positive relationships to assist the team performance, as well as being a contributor to the business as a whole;
11. Occasional travel across the Group outside of your base region may be required.

About You:
This role demands a flexible and dynamic individual who has a positive mind-set and strong problem solving capability. It is essential that the individual is an ambassador for the Hendy brand with robust interpersonal skills to build strong customer and colleague relationships.
1. Previous experience as a Service Advisor in a main dealer environment;
2. Able to work in a variety of Service operations with a multitude of brands;
3. Empathetic and able to handle difficult conversations with customers and colleagues;
4. Strong communication and organisational skills with high levels of self-motivation;
5. A full UK driving licence.
