Due to rapid growth within the business, we’re looking for a Remote Learning Tutor & Administrator to join our amazing team at Way2Learn - our award-winning distance learning service from PeoplePlus. This is a fixed term role for 12 months, with possibility of extension.
The main role of the Remote Learning Tutor & Administrator is to provide expert mentoring, marking and senior administrative duties across our Adult Learning provision, with the primary focus of ensuring our client sites are serviced with the best customer care and managerial support. The role will involve working with the Director of Digital & Content to develop and deliver the highest level of quality for learners. The post holder would support the delivery of an outstanding learning experience on behalf of PeoplePlus to prison-based learners in preparation for their next steps on their learning journey.

Main Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of courses to groups of learners working towards completing Way2Learn courses.
* Provide an engaging experience to motivate learners to help them realise their potential, managing learner retention through engaging delivery and assessment practices to meet company retention KPIs.
* Mark and assess learner work in a timely manner whilst providing clear constructive feedback to support learners ongoing development.
* Support the Way2Learn administrator with marking, certification and authoring reports for client sites.
* Visiting client sites to talk with commissioners and proactively promote our service in person (and via TEAMS)
* Have a real commitment to 'making a difference' to people's lives and wanting to contribute to the rehabilitation of prisoners lives.
The Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of 3 years relevant educational/commercial experience in a similar role, preferably with 1+ year teaching digital courses up to L2.
* L3 Teaching Qualification minimum, with a willingness to continue CPD advancement with the completion of internal CPD courses.
* Assessing Award – or willingness to work towards in the first 3 months
* Up-to-date knowledge of current initiatives relating the digital world, with the ability to assess effectively and utilise a range of technology, including Microsoft Teams, A.I and some digital media authoring (print/video)
* An engaging personality who welcomes the opportunity to advocate for those disadvantaged groups in society.
* A confident communicator on phone-calls, in person and via video conferencing.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (excel, word, 360)
* Ability to travel to client sites with own car and clean licence
* Enhanced security DBS check is mandatory (we will arrange this)
