Quality Operations Lead Location: Craigavon Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: Competitive Business Unit : Pharma services Open To : Internal and External Applicants Ref No.: HRJOB10467 ㅤ The Role The Quality Operations Lead role supports pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging operations by providing direct quality support on-site. The Quality Operations lead role will act as a QA support for the Production Shift Manager, will be responsible for providing ‘on the floor’ support for deviations and investigations, and supporting operational decisions following quality issues. They also assist with the completion and approval of minor changes to allow batch closeout and review and conduct informal audits to ensure compliance with cGMP and company procedures. Additionally, the post holder will support QA-related queries and provide quality support for rework and reprocessing operations. They will monitor compliance with GMP and internal procedures, promote an open and blame-free culture, and foster collaborative relationships with operational staff. The role includes developing metrics to assess compliance levels, supporting business projects, and performing additional duties related to GMP compliance and the quality of manufactured and released pharmaceutical products. ㅤ Key Requirements Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK Degree (or equivalent) in a science, life science or technical discipline or closely related field OR Significant relevant work experience and knowledge will be considered in lieu of degree. GCSE English and Mathematics or equivalent (Grade C or above). Experience working within an established Quality System within the Pharmaceutical Industry. Experience of solid oral dosage forms throughout the product lifecycle, from development scale including clinical supply, through to commercial scale manufacture and primary and secondary packing. ㅤ Further Information This role will be based on a flexible working pattern. This means you must work between the core hours of 10.00 – 16.00 working 37.5 hours per week between Monday - Friday. This role will have the option to apply for hybrid working as applicable to the role upon a successful probation period, up to one day per week based on business requirements. This role will require coverage beyond normal working hours as and when required. It also may require travel.
