We are currently looking to grow our commercial team and are looking to hire a Commercial Associate.
The Commercial Associate is a supporting role. Their role includes assisting in the preparation, review, management and tracking of contracts and associated documentation.
The Commercial Associate will also support the Business Development team with other administrative tasks, data tracking and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements and supporting BD initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in drafting, reviewing and arranging execution of contracts and agreements
2. Maintenance, tracking and organising contract files and database
3. Supporting the BD team in contract negotiations and administration
4. Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and relevant laws
5. Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries related to BD activity
6. Collaborate with DLRC internal teams to ensure the successful completion of contracting activities
7. Communicate with client teams to gather necessary information for contract preparation
8. Provide administrative support to the BD team as needed, including event management, travel planning and budget tracking
9. Adhere to and follow DLRC values for all work conducted at the company
10. Support KPI monitoring and data analysis for the BD team.
Required Experience:
1. Graduate in law or business-related discipline with a strong aptitude for technology
2. Understanding of contract law and commercial management processes with prior experience desirable but not essential
3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
4. Proficiency in MS Office applications
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to hard deadlines
7. Basic knowledge of contract types and their application
8. Strong administrative skills including proficiency in MS Office and Adobe applications
9. Strong ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and prioritize effectively
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills
11. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges, especially technology
12. An interest in regulatory affairs and life sciences.
