Our client, a leading supplier and distributor serving the Construction, Engineering, and Building sectors, is currently recruiting for an experienced New Business Internal Sales Representative to join their vibrant team in Lanarkshire.
Job purpose:
As part of the expansion of our client's Building Solutions product range and reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for liaising with existing, lapsed, and new clients, building relationships, and promoting new and existing products to generate orders and leads.
Key responsibilities:
1. Create new business opportunities with potential customers.
2. Develop additional sales of our products within our existing range.
3. Using the project management database, confirm potential for our products, and pass these inquiries to Sales Managers.
4. Record and manage the sales opportunities within the CRM database in conjunction with our Sales Managers.
5. Work independently, as well as alongside Sales Managers.
Essential requirements:
1. Proven track record working within a sales coordinator / B2B Sales / Customer Care role.
2. Strong appetite to work in a customer-focused role building relationships over the telephone.
3. Strong administration skills.
4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Offering:
1. Salary from £24,000 - £26,444 per annum DOE.
2. Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm.
3. Holidays: 24 days plus 8 bank holidays.
4. Hybrid working upon completion of training (2 days home and 3 days office).
