Salary: 40,000 - 70,000 GBP per year Requirements:
* A HND (or equivalent) in a STEM subject or relevant experience, preferably with a focus on Software or Systems Engineering.
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Effective communication skills, able to engage with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience working with Radar systems is desirable.
Responsibilities:
* I will be part of a small team, managing all software assurance activities.
* I will assess and approve software products and process compliance against agreed Software Development Plans and Software Validation & Verification Plans.
* I will undertake configuration and review of supplier Data Requirement Lists (DRL) items.
* I will build relationships and networks across the supplier, Eurofighter Partner Company, and Customer communities.
* I will assess and support the team in resolving supplier deviations to platform-level Software Development Standards.
* I will conduct reviews of software documentation to support regular Radar product iterations, releases, and clearances.
* I will attend and support supplier software lifecycle reviews and software audits at supplier premises.
* I will engage with a culture of continuous improvement within the Radar Software Assurance team.

This is an exciting role for a Senior Software Assurance Engineer within the Eurofighter Typhoon Radar Equipment Design Responsibility (EDR) team, supporting the software development effort on various Radar programmes. The role sits within the EDR team based in Warton, where I will work closely with the Radar Equipment Supplier (EuroRadar, Leonardo-UK, Hensoldt, Leonardo-IT, and Indra), Eurofighter GmbH, and other System Design Responsibility (SDR) engineering disciplines.
