Job Description
Taylor Hopkinson has been retained by Vårgrønn to recruit an Offshore Wind Asset Manager to oversee construction and operating performances, financial performance, maintenance strategies, and operational efficiency and ensure maximum return on investment and sustainability. This role will be predominantly on the Dogger Bank (UK) and Balic 2 (Germany) Offshore wind farms, evolving across other offshore wind assets in the Vårgrønn portfolio.
Vårgrønn is an agile, Norway-based offshore wind company powering the energy transition through development, construction, operation, and ownership of offshore wind assets. Vårgrønn is a joint venture between the energy company Plenitude (Eni) and the Norwegian energy entrepreneur and investor HitecVision.
Vårgrønn holds a 20% share in Dogger Bank, the world's largest offshore windfarm under construction, and a 27.4% share in the operational Baltic 2 Offshore windfarm in the German Baltic Sea. These partnerships in particular will provide Vårgrønn with an opportunity to build operational knowledge and experience in managing offshore wind farms, complementing the existing portfolio of projects under development and construction.
