HGV Technician Alternating weeks - Day shifts 7.00am-3.30pm and Late Shifts 10.30am-7.00pm Monday to Friday and a Saturday rota. - 40 hours a week Salary £35,000 - £48,000 basic dependent on experience/qualifications Overtime paid at time and a half Benefits include sickness pay, 30 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays and company pension scheme Loads of training both online and at our head office. They can get you your IRTEC qualification, and put through their HGV driving test both after a period of time. Responsibilities of a HGV Technician Test vehicles and diagnose faults Recognise and report vehicle/component defects or symptoms of impending failure Carry out inspections, servicing and repair of HGVs to company standard. Completing all job cards and compliance paperwork to the highest standard ensuring nothing is missed Order replacement parts and helping to ensure stock levels are maintained Provide excellent customer service whilst working on/off site You will be required to complete ongoing training where necessary Requirements of a HGV Technician Must have a Level 3 qualification with Heavy Good Vehicles, or be time served as HGV Technician Knowledge of computers required Ability to be able to understand and complete written paperwork required
