Description This position is the financial analyst for the bp project, working closely with the management team. You will be managing the timesheet process and preparing the information for multiple applications. This role will require to be project based 2 days per week in Teesside. LI-AW1 Responsibilities Support the contract team in managing the financial performance of the contract, and accurately supporting the preparation and review of the Contract Leaders’ Report (CLR) to ensure that it adequately reflects the status of the contract, and that the financial performance is being reported in line with Group guidelines and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Contract Accounting - integrity of costs, revenue ledgers and transaction processing Maintain monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations. Financial control, governance, segregation of duties & process flows in line with Group guidelines. Demonstrate robust communication and leadership skills. Ensure that all cash book, accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger books of entry and processes are administered in an accurate and timely manner. Finance point of contact for internal, external and client audits Manage the Accounts Receivable process and debtor’s control. Maintain accurate records of all hours worked by all directly employed labour by setting up and maintaining appropriate systems and procedures, ensuring accurate timesheet generation and cost allocation on a weekly basis Qualifications Experience in a similar role. Qualified accountant with a recognised professional body or well on the way to qualification Excellent communication skills, able to relate in a confident manner to people at all levels, both verbal and written Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and an ethical approach to data including respecting the confidential nature of information and the associated decision making. Hands on capability to use Microsoft Office suite of software with expertise of Excel.
