Health & Social Care Teacher - Alternative Provision - Birmingham (4 Days a Week)
This excellent Alternative Provision in Birmingham is looking for a dedicated Health & Social Care Teacher to join their team for four days a week. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact, teaching small groups of students who require a tailored and supportive learning environment.

As a Health & Social Care Teacher, you will have the flexibility to deliver engaging and meaningful lessons that prepare students for further education and future careers. This role requires a Health & Social Care Teacher with strong communication and classroom management skills.
Job Role:
1. Teaching Health & Social Care to small groups of students in Key Stages 3 and 4
2. Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
3. Supporting students' personal development and preparing them for careers in the health and care sector
4. Working closely with the pastoral team to ensure students receive the best support
5. Managing behaviour effectively and fostering a positive learning environment
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
2. Experience teaching Health & Social Care at Key Stage 3 and 4
3. A patient, supportive, and adaptable teaching approach
4. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage students who may be reluctant learners
5. A commitment to making a difference in the lives of young people
