Secondary Spanish Teacher
Qualified Spanish Teacher looking for a new challenge? If so, Teaching Personnel has a fantastic opportunity available for you! We are currently working with one of our partnership secondary schools who are looking for a Spanish Teacher in the Tonypandy area. This position is starting immediately and will run for the remainder of the 2024-25 academic year. The successful applicant will be delivering Spanish lessons to students in KS3, KS4 and KS5.
Spanish Teacher Requirements:
* Hold QTS (FQT or NQT)
* PGCE or equivalent in Spanish or fluency/conversational to a confident level
* Enhanced DBS Certificate available on the update service
* Valid registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council)
* Two school-based references (if applicable)
The successful applicant will be expected to pre-plan and prepare Spanish lessons in line with the national curriculum and deliver high-quality education to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5. You will be working as part of a friendly and supportive team in the MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) department of the school who will provide on-hand support should you need it.
Additionally, you will be responsible for managing challenging behaviours within your classroom in line with school policy. Therefore, engaging and enjoyable lessons are paramount to retain the students' focus and keep them on task.
