Our client provides a complete and fully integrated business management solution designed to support organisations in all aspects of their business, allowing them to save time and money and grow their businesses rapidly. To support ongoing growth across this business, they now seek to appoint a driven Technical Support Executive to join their ambitious team.
As a Technical Support Executive, you will be required to undertake network installations, server administration, and remote support covering all elements of the customer’s IT function including infrastructure, networking, email support, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with customers to help diagnose problems
* Resolve problems directly where possible
* Log issues with appropriate channels
* Maintain ongoing communications with customers until resolution
* Test issues and provide feedback to the development team
Key Skills:
* Proven experience working in a technical support role
* A sound understanding of Windows (XP through to Win10)
* Networking Knowledge - understanding of TCP/IP, routing, LAN and WAN, VPNs
* Linux experience would be desirable
* Ability to identify training needs and opportunities for creating training material
* Active involvement in training sessions
