As Senior Coordinator, you'll be the glue that holds our thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem together. Cambridge Enterprise is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive Senior Coordinator to work with our team supporting IE Cambridge (Innovation & Entrepreneurship). If you have experience managing projects, keeping teams on track to meet goals, and want to use your skills to support entrepreneurship at the University of Cambridge, this might be the role for you Our newly created Ecosystem Initiatives & Partnerships (EIP) team plays a key role in supporting potential entrepreneurs and founders as part of a global innovative university ecosystem. The team has the role of supporting the University Enterprise Network (UEN), which brings together over 90 different entities who work to deliver a range of enterprise-related education and support programmes within, or linked to, the University of Cambridge and a recently-launched initiative, IE Cambridge. IE Cambridge is a central hub, promoting entrepreneurship, signposting support and providing resources to the University’s students and researchers. Why you will love this role: As the IE Cambridge Senior Coordinator, you will have significant impact in the day-to-day management of our network and activities. You will take responsibility for ensuring the effective operations of the UEN; managing communications, supporting meetings and workshops, and maintaining a Teams site and resources. You will work closely with the I/E Cambridge Manager to deliver core publications such as our Entrepreneurship Support Guide, maintain our website and community app and support our understanding of the ecosystem through data collection and analysis and reporting on activity. You will also work as part of the team to support I/E Cambridge events. How you’ll contribute: Manage the UEN contact list in our CRM system and update the stakeholder engagement strategy Support the delivery of the annual conference, networking meetings and workshops for the UEN Co-ordinate communications with our UEN members through our MS Teams channel, email and e-newsletters Managing collateral resources such as merchandise, presentations, literature, and brochures. Mapping and oversight of our data, ensuring the highest levels of attention to detail and accuracy, and working within Cambridge Enterprise to help feed into University-level data requests. Supporting the team with other events and activities as might be necessary including ensuring opportunities for engagement are maximised in 3rd party events What we're looking for: You have excellent admin skills, are comfortable juggling multiple priorities, highly organised and efficient with your time. You are passionate about operational excellence and see this as a critical part in creating a reliable and trusted brand both internally and within our networks. You have a high EQ, with great interpersonal skills who would enjoy working part of a fast-paced and close-knit team and engaging with others from across the University You understand entrepreneurship, not necessarily as an entrepreneur yourself but what it is and how it can be supported You have a solution-focused mindset and see every challenge as an opportunity to find a creative way forward. You are proactive, and agile. You thrive in fast-paced environments and love rolling up your sleeves to get things done well. Experience of Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, One Note, SharePoint Nice to have: Experience of the University of Cambridge entrepreneurial ecosystem, or working for another academic institution within innovation and entrepreneurship. Experience of supporting a community or stakeholder group in a similar role. Experience of delivering events as part of a team.
