About Avon Cosmetics Our founder David H.McConnell was a progressive pioneer, an impressive visionary, a courageous game-changer, and above all, a champion of women. But he didnt set out to create a beauty company. He was a travelling book salesperson who offered beauty products as a gift. Main Role Responsibilities In General: To participate in merchandise management and ensure that it is in line with productneeds & that stock levels are monitored and well maintained. Ensure the Kiosk is exceptionally presented at all times showcasing the beautiful range of Avon products available for customers. Be an Avon Ambassador at all times and remain polite and friendly. Complete any Administrative work as necessary. Build relationships with colleagues, management and customers for the Avon brand. To carry out any additional duties as directed from management. Positive can do attitude at all times and building strong relationships with colleagues to share ideas and tips for success. To be well presented at all times. Selling: To be an expert on fragrance, skincare, makeup and our products. To pro-actively sell Avon products to customers and link sell products to different categories to increase Average order value. To be aware of and achieve or exceed sales targets, as set by the management. Approach people passing the kiosk to invite & entice them to the kiosk using our Avon products. Service to the Customers: To be knowledgeable on all Avon products and be able to confidently recommend personalised products to customers and complete product consultations as necessary. Demonstrate products on clients by either mini makeovers or matching products i.e. foundation matching and be able to confidently explain the benefits of each of the products whilst recommending other products which may benefit them. To positively & actively approach potential customers in passing by and also to identify and understand customer needs whilst engaging with the products. Listen to the customers needs whilst using own expert Avon knowledge to best serve the customer. Some of the things we are looking for: Excellent customer service and communication skills Results driven to grow the business and willing to go the extra mile to ensure the customer has the best experience at the kiosk A drive for sales to hit kiosk sales targets and over-exceed. Confidence. To be able to approach people passing the kiosk & to be able to engage with customers confidently. Experience in makeup, beauty or this industry. Experience in customer service is essential & also proven retail experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Personally well presented to be in front of customers and potential customers. Flexible to work main trading hours.
