The Role
1. Lead a variety of interesting and complex audit assignments across multiple sectors, liaising with managers and partners when required.
2. Prepare audit files, undertake audit planning and lead/assist with fieldwork.
3. Assist in work allocation and supervise more junior team members on audits, providing support, training, and reviewing their work.
4. Ensure audit assignments are completed to a high standard, in time and within budgets agreed with Directors.
5. Supervise and review jobs completed by less senior members of staff.
6. Using accounting software to provide accurate reporting for Managers, Directors, and clients.
7. Preparing statutory accounts and finalise accounts under the overall supervision of your Line Manager.
8. Preparing corporation tax computations.
9. Maintain up to date and relevant technical knowledge of the industry and national economic issues.
10. Input into service and product pricing, including assisting with new client quotes.
11. Building productive working relationships within the business and with clients as required.
12. Developing and applying your technical knowledge through on-the-job training.

About You
1. ACCA/ACA qualified or almost qualified.
2. Minimum of 3 years' UK Audit practice experience, some accounts experience is also a must.
3. Preference for a University degree with at least a 2:1 or minimum 3 A-Levels (A, B, B or above).
4. Xero, Sage, Caseware and CCH experience would be an advantage.
5. Fully fluent in English with proven communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Exceptional attention to detail.
7. Strong IT skills, specifically Excel and able to pick up new IT packages very quickly.
8. A positive, confident, and proactive attitude.
9. Create a positive impression with clients and staff.
10. Ability to prioritise and meet tight timeframes with high quality output.
11. Enjoy working as part of a team and self-motivated.
12. Able to work within procedures on job aspects which will deal with facts, standards, and quality.
