Sanctuary Personnel are looking for a Street Works Inspector to work for Warrington Council.
This is a full-time locum role paying £17.07 - £20 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
1. The post holder must carry out the duties with full regard to the Council’s Corporate Plan, the Corporate Equality and Diversity Policy and Health and Safety Policy.
2. Undertake safety and serviceability inspections of assets and raise repairs as required to ensure highway related assets are maintained and inspected to appropriate standards in accordance with best practice and current legislation.
3. Undertake appropriate statutory street works/Permit inspections within timescale as required in accordance with up to date legislation and best practice and as directed by the Asset Maintenance and Street works Team Leader.
4. Assist in the liaison with the Asset Maintenance and Street works Manager and Asset Improvement and Adoptions Manager and other teams as required to ensure assets are being inspected and maintained in the best interest of the public, organisation, division and the service.
Applicant Requirements:
1. Educated to Academic Degree Level or equivalent or a significant level of experience relevant to the post.
2. Recent experience.
3. Experience of supporting a team according to available resources and skill levels and working co-operatively with others.
4. Good written and oral communication skills.
5. Knowledge of licensing.
6. Good organisational skills.
