Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE) + Up to £4,500 bonus per year

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Children’s Residential Registered Manager to lead our children’s residential care home in Duston (NN5). This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to manage and enhance the quality of care for children in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.
As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the service, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance with relevant regulations. You will lead and motivate a dedicated team, ensuring that each child's needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the daily operations of the children’s residential care home, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with regulations.
Manage and develop a skilled care team, offering ongoing support, supervision, and training to staff members.
Ensure the home operates in compliance with Ofsted and regulatory standards.
Develop and implement person-centred care plans, focusing on the individual needs of each child.
Safeguard children under your care, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
Manage the home's budget, staffing levels, and operational processes effectively.
Maintain positive relationships with families, external agencies, and professionals.
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and quality checks to ensure service excellence.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to senior staff and team members.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Residential Care) or equivalent (essential).
Proven experience managing a children's residential care setting.
Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and compliance standards.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Full UK driving license and ability to drive a manual vehicle.
Experience in safeguarding and risk management in a children’s care setting.
