We are looking for someone who is hardworking with a cheerful disposition to join the Chemotherapy Scheduling team in the Headland Unit at the Royal Cornwall Hospital.
Main duties of the job
1. To deal with all new patient chemotherapy / anti-cancer treatment referrals from clinicians.
2. To plan patient treatment and unit capacity efficiently making sure target treatment times are being met, ensuring pre-assessments are booked and that any scanning is completed.
3. To manage waiting lists, deal with changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining focus and being flexible and adaptable.
4. To liaise directly with the patient regarding their treatment and any queries or concerns they might have.
5. Other administrative tasks set out by line manager.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE (or equivalent) level "C" in Maths and English
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience
* Knowledge of the cancer pathway
Experience
* Previous experience in an administrative role
* Experience with booking

* Demonstrates high attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to manage a busy workload
* Can manage multiple waiting lists with changing priorities
