This is a unique opportunity for a driven and experienced Solicitor to join and lead the Corporate and Commercial team of a large Legal 500 Essex Law firm. The Team handles a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions with values exceeding £20m.
This opportunity has arisen due to succession planning and restructuring to recruit a new Team Leader. The team consists of a mixture of highly qualified senior lawyers and junior lawyers. The Commercial and Corporate Finance Team also includes the regulatory offering, which continues to grow and offers new and exciting opportunities to develop new and existing client relationships.
As Team Leader, the successful candidate will be granted a discounted fee target to acknowledge the time and commitment required to manage and develop a Team.
The successful candidate will be expected to lead and develop the existing team whilst also identifying areas for growth and new revenue streams. The role will require excellent communication skills and the ability to nurture business partner relationships. The role will involves marketing and business development, and therefore, the ideal candidate must be flexible enough to work outside normal office hours and be comfortable attending a range of marketing events and progressing a variety of business development initiatives.
Looking to the future, and ongoing succession planning there is an opportunity for additional recruitment into the team, which would give the successful candidate the chance to mould the team and create their own identity.
