We are seeking experienced senior employee relations practitioners to be part of an exciting new employee relations function at Pennine Care. You will work as part of a team of Senior Employee Relations Advisors supported by an Employee Relations Business Partner to ensure that the Employment Relations advisory service is customer focused and delivered to the highest possible professional HR standards.
You will bring with you significant experience of employee relations. You will be driving change, in improving the experience of our staff and leaders, through the provision of high quality employee relation support that is based on developing a just culture and creating a great place to work.
As part of a new team, you will embrace innovative thinking about how we can do things differently within the Trust to move forward with our Employee Relations agenda.
Some home/remote working is supported in the roles.
Main duties of the job
* Provide senior Employment Relations support, through a coaching style approach, to managers within the organisation and ensure the provision of expert, customer focused employment relations management advice, offer guidance on human resources policies, case management and other workforce productivity initiatives.
* Provide expert advice and professional supervision to allocated members of the wider team.
* Collaborate with Network HR Business Partners and Network Senior Management teams to ensure awareness of Network challenges and support effective employee relations within the Network.
* Ensure that the provision of advice and support to managers and staff in the interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures and complex areas of employment relations is accurate, governed by national and legal frameworks.
* Manage and maintain the team key performance indicators and standard operating procedures within the Employee Relations Service.
* Manage an allocated Employee Relations Advisor and oversee the professional development of roles within the team.
* Collaborate with other members of the workforce and OD service in developing HR and OD initiatives that create and add value to the business.
* Identify and progress early interventions to minimise workplace conflict and assess the feasibility of introducing alternative approaches to resolving disputes.
* Influence and drive business thinking and develop approaches that support operational business objectives.
* Support the development and embedding of a just and learning culture within the organisation.
* Provide specialist Employment Relations support to investigating officers, undertaking disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance processes.
* Act as a panel member where appropriate in employment related hearings, providing senior advice and support to managers.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff side representatives and Trade Union officials.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of the ER tracker casework management systems.
* Work in partnership with other Trust departments to improve the impact and quality of the Employee Relations advice provided.
* Work in partnership with Workforce and Information Teams in relation to obtaining relevant workforce reports.
* Collate monitoring information as required for management reports.
* Play a key role in supporting the review and development of workforce policies, procedures, tools, training and quality improvement systems.

* Level 7 CIPD or near completion.
