We are a social housing landlord and one of the largest housing providers in the region with over 22,000 social and affordable homes, mainly in the Bradford district. We employ a talented workforce of nearly 1,000 people.

Duties include:
* Champion Community Engagement: Support key community activities and events. Be the face of Incommunities, deliver engaging opportunities for customers to amplify their voices and encourage participation in local initiatives and Bradford 2025 City of Culture projects.
* Promote Inclusivity: Ensure the customer voice is at the forefront of all engagement initiatives. Actively identify and encourage underrepresented groups to participate in shaping their communities.
* Facilitate Dynamic Activities: Assist customer engagement activities like tenant and residents’ associations and local forums. Ensure diverse voices are included in decision-making processes.
* Support Ambitious Aims around Building Safety: Support the Building Safety Group and other residents in high rise building to have their say in the safety of their home. Playing an integral part in embedding the building safety resident’s engagement strategy.
* Deliver Community Funding initiatives: Manage community funding initiatives by overseeing applications, assist with bid writing, distributing grants and payments and supporting community stakeholders to maximise funding opportunities.
* Strengthen Partnerships: Maintain and enhance relationships with over 15 community partners. Facilitate funding distribution, host networking sessions, and attend local drop-ins, collaborating closely with Ward Officers.
* Build Strong Networks: Forge robust relationships with local agencies, authorities, and voluntary organisations to enhance services and opportunities for our customers, ensuring their active community involvement.
* Secure and Sustain Community Spaces: Assist in securing funding for community centres, address lease issues, and relocation efforts to ensure the sustainability of vital community spaces.
* Track and Report: Regularly monitor and report on community engagement outcomes. Use insights to drive improvements, influence policy, and meet evaluation goals.
* Align with Best Practices: Ensure all community resilience activities comply with housing regulations, consumer standards, and best practices in customer involvement. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance engagement strategies.
Requirements
* Experience in community engagement, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
* A track record of facilitating customer involvement activities, ensuring diverse voices are represented in decision-making.
* Strong organisational skills to manage community funding initiatives, from shortlisting applications to grant distribution and reporting.
* Ability to foster collaboration between community partners, local agencies, and voluntary organisations to enhance services for customers.
* Experience assisting tenant and resident associations (TARAs), including auditing, encouraging new groups, and transitioning processes to digital platforms.
* Strong problem-solving skills to address community challenges, including funding, lease issues for community centres.
* A data-driven approach to tracking and reporting on community engagement outcomes, ensuring insights drive continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of housing regulations, consumer standards, and best practices in customer involvement to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and promote participation in local initiatives.
* A proactive and adaptable mindset, committed to making a meaningful impact in communities through resilience-building activities.
* Driving licence with own vehicle highly desirable / good transport links to travel around Bradford
