Arcas Technology is partnered with a growing company in Nottingham that is looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.
Are you a hands-on IT professional looking to be the first line of support in a fast-paced environment? My client is seeking a proactive and problem-solving IT Support Technician to maintain their technology infrastructure and ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
* Providing first-line support, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting employees on-site.
* Setting up, configuring, and maintaining laptops, printers, and other essential devices.
* Tracking IT assets and ensuring equipment is properly documented and backed up.
* Managing and maintaining local network equipment, including routers, switches, and cabling.
* Escalating complex technical issues to internal teams or external IT partners as needed.
* Proactively identifying and resolving potential IT problems before they impact operations.
Key Skills:
* Experience in IT support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
* Ability to manage IT assets and implement backup solutions.
* Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to IT support.
* Knowledge of routers, switches, and cabling for network management.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues in simple terms.
* Adaptability to a growing business with evolving IT needs.
