Horizon Teachers are working with an Alternative Provision based in Enfield who are looking to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to support their students in lessons and help manage their behaviour. The school cater for Secondary aged students who have been permanently excluded or who are at risk of exclusion from mainstream school. This position will start after October half-term for the full academic year, until July 2025, on a full-time basis,Being a Behaviour Mentor within this school you will need to be patient, energetic and resilient in nature and be able to be flexible with a positive attitude to create a relationship with the students. Due to the needs of the children within this school, you will need to have previous experience working within a similar setting, and having Team Teach training or experience de-escalating behaviour is required. This will be a very rewarding role for the right person and will pay up to £550 per week.Behaviour Mentor responsibilities:
* Carrying out behaviour management in line with the school's policies and procedures
* Supporting pupils inside and outside the classroom.
* Accompanying and supporting students with their academic and personal development.
* Being proactive in the class to ensure your learning support is tailored to each child's individual need.
