Tolead and coordinate clinical skills-based training, professional discussion,and competency-based assessment for clinical staff across all centres,including supporting and mentoring the Nurse Trainers to allow them to carryout their roles effectively and when absent, assuming their role.
Totake responsibility for the staff upgrading across Centres as per theorganisations internal pathways ensuring patient safety is maintained and toensure all care delivered is accurately and appropriately documented.

Senior Nurse Trainer
Contract: Permanent Full-Time 40h per week(including paid breaks)
Scope: Responsiblefor Nurse training for the Group, managing a team of 2, and deputising for theLearning & Development Manager
Salary: £57,500 per annum

Duties & Responsibilities:

In conjunction with the Learning and Development Manager, develop,review and implement a range of cohesive clinical leadership, management andorganisational development programmes encompassing relevant themes and topicsdependant on organisational needs
Organise, oversee, and facilitate the Induction program for staffmembers new to the organisation and bespoke in-service training as required.
Collate and prepare monthly reports for the Learning and DevelopmentManager on deliverables set by the Executive Board such as internal upskillingprogress, clinical competency and training completion across Centres (this listis not exhaustive).
To be a role model for all staff groups, demonstrating a professionaland pro-active approach to clinical leadership whilst providing advice,guidance, and support to clinical staff, with a focus on all our Nurses.
Person Specification:
UK Registered Nurse with anactive PIN
Level 3 aware in Education andTraining (or equivalent), Ideally: Level 5 in Leadership and Management (orequivalent)
At least 3 years leadershipexperience, and strong people management skills
Facilitating training sessionsin a similar setting, both face to face and virtually
Excellent communication,interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
Good IT skills, and proficientin Microsoft Office (word, excel and PowerPoint)
Ideally: experience withVentilator and Tracheostomy Care
Location:this role requires attending our three centres in Purley, Banstead and WestNorwood we are flexible regarding a work pattern that works for you
