Description Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and financial data to key stakeholders. Prepare financial reports for senior management, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Analyze key financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Manage and review daily, weekly, and monthly financial transactions to ensure accuracy. Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors as required. Provide support in developing and improving financial processes and controls. Support the Finance Director with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks. Profile Key Requirements: Part-qualified, actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA qualification (essential). Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within a retail environment. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (SAGE, Xero, etc.). Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-financial departments. A proactive and enthusiastic approach with a desire to learn and develop.
