Job Description Our well known client is looking for a National Business Development Manager to join their field based Team, 12 month contract role.
The role will involve working closely with dealers to develop strong manufacturer/dealer partnership offering the necessary support and guidance to dealers in the delivery of our mutual objectives.
As this role is a national field based role you will require a full driving licence and the ability to travel nationally with flexibility for frequent overnight stays as required.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Provide the primary personal link between the Dealers and the manufacturer and create a proactive working environment and partnership with the dealers at all levels.
2. Develop a strategy medium and long term to increase the manufacturer Miimo Market Share.
3. Work in conjunction with high-performing robotic dealers to create best practice guide.
4. Organise and run regional Miimo dealer meetings to share updates, training and coaching refreshers, helpful tips and shortcuts.
5. Develop and promote HRGC Multi-Miimo pitch package for RFU clubs.
6. Support ASMs through coaching at Sales Meetings on Miimo updates and sales best practice.
7. Support dealers on Sales & Marketing Strategy so every dealer has a 12 month plan – Building Consideration and Awareness in the dealers territory.
8. Work closely with newly appointed dealers to familiarise with Miimo.
9. Liaise with branches on Miimo sales developments.
10. Support Corporate Sales Manager to secure sales into major corporate accounts.
11. Work together with Customer & Area Sales Manager team to resolve complex customer issues.
12. Have an in-depth knowledge of Miimo from a sales (feature and benefits) and technical point of view so training and coaching refreshers, helpful tips and shortcuts can be delivered with credibility (training will be given).
13. Provide in-dealer coaching on installation.
14. Manage and motivate franchised dealer staff at all levels to consistently provide our customers with excellent customer service and to achieve overall divisional objectives utilising available tactical resource and products.
15. Liaise, plan and assist with local promotions, shows and PR and utilise the national show programmes to best advantage for the product groups in the area and nationally.
16. Increase sales of Miimo nationally.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
Required
17. Relevant experience in a similar role.
18. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
19. Experience of selling and achieving commercial targets.
20. Experience of collaborating with a team to achieve set objectives.
21. Analytical skills to collate and present relevant data.
22. Understanding of the dealer business or distributor sector.
23. Proficient in excel, intermediate in Word and Power Point.
24. Full driving license and the commitment to travel extensively so that sales results and extensive dealer contact are maintained.
25. Be prepared to undertake frequent overnight stays away.
Desirable
26. Knowledge of the sector including competitor activity.
27. Similar role in manufacturer/retail environment preferred.
