Job summary We are looking for a Patient Services Advisor to join our team, we are looking for someone who has previously worked in Primary Care or Secondary Care and has experience in summarising medical notes and coding clinical correspondence. The hours are on a rotational shift pattern Monday-Friday, but will fall within our core hours of 7.45am-6.30pm. The post available is for up to 37.5 hours per week (however we are willing to consider a job share if the right candidates are looking for fewer hours). You will be working predominately at The Boulevard Medical Practice but will be required to work at our branch site Horne Street Surgery on a rota basis. Are you reliable? Hard working? Ambitious? Your main duties will be as follows: Summarising of patients medical notes Processing GP2GP Transfer tasks Clinical Coding of correspondence Managing Pathology requests Internal/ External mail handling Filing of patient notes Monitoring our E-consultation inbox and NHS Mail inbox.
