We are looking for a motivated, professionally registered Family Therapist (Systemic Psychotherapist) to work part-time (22.5 hours per week) in South Bristol CAMHS locality team, based in Knowle Clinic or Osprey Court. We offer flexible working patterns and can include some work from home.
You will need to demonstrate that you have experience of holding your own caseload including risk assessment and management of complex and enduring mental health needs, preferably from working within a community CAMHS service and with experience of working with young people with eating disorders.
You will receive regular clinical supervision from our 8a Lead Family Therapist. In addition to management/caseload supervision and MDT case discussions, you will access regular CAMHS wide Family Therapy meetings and have access to relevant training to support your continued professional development.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for proactively engaging families and providing initial assessments, family systemic assessments, therapy and consultations to referred children, young people and families as a member of the multi-disciplinary team within the South Bristol CAMHS Team.
The post holder will be a member of the multi-disciplinary team responsible for providing choice and partnership appointments, care co-ordination, specialist family systemic assessments and interventions, and consultations to other professionals regarding referred children, young people and families.
The post holder will be required to work within the Eating Disorders Team. The post holder will attend team and family therapy meetings, liaise with other professionals in the family system, write reports, contribute to case formulations and develop these with families, and develop treatment planning for a small number of complex hard-to-engage cases.
The post holder will ensure families receive interventions according to NICE guidance and local pathways of care, aligned to i-thrive and CYP IAPT principles.
The post holder will be expected to hold a caseload, using resources creatively and flexibly to provide excellent therapy for children, young people and families; uniquely tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet the needs of service users, including supporting young people with eating disorders.
