Finance and Payroll Manager Location: Colchester, Essex, CO7 Job Type: Part-time, Permanent Salary: £16.00 - £19.00 per hour Hours: 28 hours per week, 4 days per week We are seeking a dedicated Finance/Payroll Manager to oversee our financial operations and payroll systems. This role is integral to maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency. Day-to-day of the role: Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts in conjunction with business directors. Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities. Prepare financial reports and statements. Financial Operations: Manage cash flow and working capital. Oversee accounting processes and ensure compliance with regulations. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Handle payroll and HMRC payments. Strategic Financial Management: Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve organizational goals. Identify cost-reduction opportunities. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management. Other Duties: Liaise with accountants, bankers, and other external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in conjunction with accounting partners. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
