We have an opportunity in our Prudential Risk Oversight team for a full-time day rate contractor to join us as a ALM Change Oversight Manager. The role will be responsible for providing 2nd line assurance of change projects within ALM, including Hedge Management, Funds Transfer Pricing, Market Risk Reporting and Structural Hedging.
This is a hybrid role; however, you would only need to be able to travel to our Leeds head office as required. There is no requirement to come into the office each week.
About the role
* Support the business by providing expert 2nd line of defence challenge and oversight over key ALM change, including Hedge Management, Funds Transfer Pricing, Market Risk Reporting and Structural Hedging.
* Provide expert challenge and technical guidance on ALM and Market Risk regulatory requirements
* Provide oversight and risk-based challenge of Stress testing frameworks and associated process, policies and controls to ensure that a robust change process is followed.
* Use experience and technical knowledge to support the business in enhancing ALM capability and to enable better strategic decision making.
About You
In-depth ALM and Market Risk skillset and experience is a must for this role, whether that is through working in a banking institution, through consultancy and advisory work, or from working for the regulator. You also will preferably have a good understanding of transformational change programs within a banking institution and have experience of delivering change to tight deadlines and utilising technological solutions. The ability to clearly articulate complex ALM concepts and business requirements to Senior Management and non-specialists is also key to the role and requires effective communication, engagement and influencing skills.
