Description Role Purpose Work as part of the Research Operations Team to deliver effective operational and administrative support to Investment Research. Key Responsibilities Weekly preparation of Investment Research meeting pack Collate and circulate weekly research regional team packs Produce stock review packs for the core research meetings Assist with research trip organisation which includes liaising with Investment Research, Corporate Traveller and heads of department for approval, direct engagement with companies to secure management level meetings, booking interpreter when required and involving approved corporate access provider (3rd party) when necessary, management of meeting schedule, international and local travel, hotel bookings and producing a detailed itinerary and creation of companies/contacts/events in Salesforce Track, update and report on engagement Assist with co-ordination of annual owned company file updates, approval process and allocation of key documents Provide administrative support to the proxy voting process Support process around external research providers Management of company and analyst meetings liaising with Investment Research, approved corporate access and research providers Provide assistance with vendor management Other Responsibilities Investment Research team support on an ad-hoc basis General administrative tasks across all areas of Research Operations To provide holiday/absence cover and support for other team members within the department as and when required Any other duties as reasonably requested by management Technical Skills & Knowledge Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint Strong numerical skills Understanding of business communications, including style and format of letters, presentations and reports University degree or equivalent Role Location Edinburgh Application To ensure a fair and inclusive interview process, we encourage all applicants to inform us of any adjustments or adaptations they may require to fully participate.
