Our culture is innovative, collaborative and performance focused. We are currently seeking to recruit a Project Manager to be based on site in Waltham Cross working on a data centre project. Duties will include, but not limited to: Management of the day-to-day site operations. Managing the program, ensuring works are completed on time by co ordinating site activities in a progressive manner. Ensuring all plant materials onsite are as per agreed specifications. Managing Quality Control set against approved benchmarks. Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress compared to schedule and manpower levels and raising damage notices as required. Carry out sub-contractor meetings, active participation in look ahead meetings is essential. Liaising with health and safety to ensure works are being completed in the correct and safe manner and ensuring works are carried out in accordance with the approved MSRA/ RAMS. Staying abreast with housekeeping and ensuring all operative are completing same, management of material storage, actively participating in issuing the daily SPAs and permits, participate in the TBTs and Whiteboard meetings ensuring operatives are aware of ongoing and upcoming works. Liasing with our client and other departmental managers across the project to ensure timely delivery and effective handover as per the schedules. Ensure that all variations and delays are notified to the relevant line manager. Report to your direct line Contracts Manager on all responsibilities and activities. Requirements / Skills: Trade qualified or construction related qualification. 2 years experience on a large-scale project as an Electrical Project Manager, or other supervisory role. Strong organisation and management skills. Ability to manage time, drive productivity and meet deadlines. Datacentre experience is advantageous. Ability to manage and prioritise tasks. Interpersonal skills and be willing to work on ones own initiative and as part of a wider site team
