Purpose of the role
As a Hub Sortation Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the night operation, ensuring the efficient processing of parcels from our clients and depots to their final delivery destinations. You’ll manage a team of Hub Operatives and warehouse staff, driving performance, ensuring compliance with KPIs, and continuously seeking ways to improve safety, cost efficiency, and service quality.

* Lead and manage a high-performing team, ensuring an efficient, cost-effective sortation operation.
* Oversee sortation compliance, vehicle departure times, and quality standards.
* Monitor productivity, manage labour costs, and ensure budget targets are met.
* Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring health & safety policies are followed.
* Drive a culture of engagement and development, ensuring colleagues are multi-skilled and succession planning is in place.
* Work with automated sortation equipment in a fast-paced environment.
* Provide operational reports and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
