Job summary As a Cardiac Physiologist you will be required to work as a competent senior physiologist within the Evelina London Children's Hospital. Duties will include both knowledge of both invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations, providing adequate technical cover during the department's normal working hours. Cardiac Physiologists with a background in adult cardiology will be expected to undergo paediatric cardiology training. Performing and interpreting 24-Holter tapes & 24 hour BP Monitors. Use a specialist range of ECG interpretation skills to analyse tapes and event recordings and provide reports. Use judgement to seek further specialist opinions where appropriate. Lead during treadmill exercise tests & tilt tests and assist with cardiopulmonary exercise tests; monitoring ECG, BP and O2 during the test. In both physiologist led and doctor supervised settings.
