Job Description:
Performing final & inter-stage dimensional inspections and supporting the requirements for documenting and maintaining records associated with these activities.
Review and verify route cards, process instructions, engineering drawings and inspection procedures to determine dimensions and tolerances of components.
Liaise with client inspectors as and when required.
Perform intermediate and final dimensional inspections including documenting and maintaining records associated with inspection.
Verification of process instructions, engineering drawings and inspection procedures.
Inspection of parts to include the production and control of documents for materials processes and parts.
Assist in the development and control of necessary documentation, analyse & report on materials, processes and products.
Calibration and recording of measuring equipment.
Liaise with other departments to maximise outputBeneficial Skills / Qualifications:
Basic Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 & AS9100 requirements.
Competent user of measuring equipment, e.g. Verniers, Micrometers, CMM's and vision systems
Basic Knowledge of all relevant British standards.
Substantial experience of reading and understanding engineering drawings and associated engineering documentation.
Computer Literate
Excellent Communication and Organisational Skills
Able to work of your own initiative

Salary subject to experience.
Shift pattern 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 12am, which rotates on a weekly basis. (5 days, 4 days)
