Our housekeeping team leaders are at the core of our teams and are integral to our guests' experience. They are kind and caring in nature and have a keen eye for detail. They are organised and can nurture their team so everyone around them can flourish.
Do you love nothing more than seeing a finished sparkling bedroom? Fresh ironed clean sheets on a beautifully made bed? Or towels stacked neatly in a pile all soft and fluffy?
If this sounds like you, you could make a fantastic Room Attendant here at the Bedruthan and Scarlet Hotel. Our housekeeping team is not just about making beds; it’s about leaving our rooms ready so when our guests open their bedroom door, they know they can kick off their shoes, relax, and unwind.
No two days at our hotels are the same; however, your responsibilities will include:
1. Organise daily work tasks, to include room allocations across both hotels.
2. Check hotel accommodation after room attendants have cleaned, ensuring high standards are met and rooms are ready for guests.
3. Check communal areas are being cleaned to a very high standard, managing the ground floor cleaner to achieve this.
4. Stock control and stock taking on a monthly basis.
5. Follow Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines.
6. Report any maintenance issues through the correct process.
7. Give rooms back in the appropriate timeline, assisting room attendants to achieve this.
8. Cover room attendant duties if the department requires it.
9. Support the porters and laundry team in completing their daily duties.
10. Understand the room booking system.
11. Attend meetings if asked by housekeeping management.
12. Communicate effectively with senior managers in housekeeping.
13. Relay relevant information to other departments.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Has experience working in a similar role.
2. Demonstrates a high attention to detail.
3. Is self-motivated and organised.
4. Has the ability to work on a team, as well as on your own.
5. Communicates clearly and effectively.
6. Has clear written and spoken English.
