Trinity Business Support are working in partnership with our Sunderland based client who are looking to add a plumbing and heating engineer to their ever-growing team. You must be gas safe accredited with two years time served to be considered for the below opportunity.
About Them:
Our client is a well-established, reliable plumbing and heating company based in Sunderland, offering top-quality services to residential and commercial clients across the region. They are looking to expand their team and are seeking a highly skilled and time served Gas Safe Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Install, repair, and maintain domestic heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and pipework.
2. Perform gas safety inspections and issue certificates where applicable.
3. Carry out servicing and repairs to gas appliances in accordance with regulations.
4. Diagnose and resolve heating system faults.
5. Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards, legislation, and company policies.
6. Provide excellent customer service, offering professional advice and guidance to clients.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of jobs, including any certificates issued.
8. Participate in on-call rota and emergency response when required.
9. Bathroom and Wetroom installations.
Key Requirements:
1. Gas Safe Registered and experienced in gas work (essential).
2. NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent.
3. Proven experience in domestic heating and plumbing installations and maintenance.
4. A full UK driving license.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with clients.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
Desirable:
1. Experience in commercial gas systems.
2. ACS Certifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, etc.).
3. Previous experience with underfloor heating systems and unvented cylinders.
4. Bathroom and wetroom installations.
