Location : London Salary : Up to 33k per anum A leading property management company is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team. The company manages a diverse portfolio of commercial and retail properties across the UK, providing professional asset and property management services. Key Responsibilities: Process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding, authorisation, and timely payments. Match invoices to purchase orders and liaise with internal teams to resolve discrepancies. Reconcile supplier statements and assist with month-end closing procedures. Process supplier payments via BACS and ensure accurate VAT recording. Handle supplier queries and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Assist with financial reporting, including accruals and cash flow forecasting. Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and audit requirements. Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role, in the property sector. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MRI, Qube, Sage, or similar property management systems). Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. AAT qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
