Our client is an Electrical installation and Sales company based in Manchester, and is well established in the energy reduction sector, offering a range of energy reduction technologies for businesses.
This is a new and exciting opportunity for a qualified time-served electrician to join a long-established and fast-growing business within the sustainable energy sector, which is constantly evolving and is a fundamental part of the world in which we now live.
The role
1. Initially, you will be working alongside an experienced VO Installation Engineer.
2. You will receive first-class industry-specific training.
3. You will receive manufacturer training.
4. Installing Voltage Optimisation and Power Correction equipment at commercial and industrial premises around the UK.
There will be scope for progression in the role for the right enthusiastic candidate.
Electrician Experience and Qualifications
1. Fully Qualified as an Electrician.
2. Experience in a commercial/industrial environment.
3. Keen and enthusiastic, willing to learn and progress.
4. Able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
5. Full UK driving licence.
6. Minimum 2 years of experience as a commercial/industrial electrician.
7. Level 3 electrotechnical apprenticeship or equivalent.
8. Electrical Installations BS 7671 (18th Edition).
9. Inspection and Testing (Preferred).
10. Right to work in the UK; no dependants or student visas accepted.
11. Must be able to communicate fluently.
12. Experience with voltage optimization or power correction is not required, as training will be given; however, having this or an understanding of VO would be an advantage.
13. Extensive UK travel and nights away will be required.
Additional Information
This is a remote role, and you should ideally be based in Greater Manchester. You will routinely travel on a daily basis and occasionally be away from home for several days at a time. You will be required to attend the Manchester office occasionally throughout the year; however, the majority of communication with the office will be online or over the phone.
At the start of your hire, you will undergo a training period that will require you to travel to a Northwest UK location for several days at a time.
Salary: £38k - £45k DOE, Full-Time: Company Vehicle, Bonus Scheme, Overtime, and other perks.
