To be part of the AET team means to support and deliver the highest quality technical support to the UK systems integrators, consultants, and end users. Providing hardware and software application support as well as supporting the team in delivering the training curriculum for Q-SYS and other specialist QSC platforms.
This is a highly varied role, and a successful candidate will be working across multiple disciplines with customers at all levels of the AV industry.
Responsibilities
1. Provide Applications support and QSC Training content to the UK, Ireland and Nordic markets
2. Ensure the highest level of customer experience whilst identifying solutions to software and hardware issues.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including programming, commissioning and network configuration.
4. Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers whilst ensuring all issues are logged and accordingly.
5. Maintain and build an excellent relationship with customers and end users.
6. Attend industry training and develop relevant knowledge and skills to enhance performance.
7. Deliver training on Q-SYS products to programmers, system designers, and commissioning engineers
8. Deliver pre-sales system designs for projects across multiple verticals
9. Travel to UK, Ireland and Nordic regions to deliver training to distributors and integrators and provide support.
Qualifications
10. Education to degree level or qualification in industry relevant field
11. Comprehensive understanding of audio, video and networking is essential
12. Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, installation Engineer, AV programmer or similar role
13. Strong experience in supporting audio visual or IT infrastructure services is key
14. Commercially astute with the ability to understand a complex sales process
15. Proven expertise managing complex systems within a corporate AV/IT environment
16. Supported products and services NOT exclusively based on hardware
17. Supported products and services to Tier 1 integrators and end users
18. Exceptional technical ability with a detail-oriented approach
19. Well organised to manage conflicting priorities
20. Excellent problem-solving skills individually and as part of a team
21. Confident and engaging presentation skills
22. Excellent communication skills – with the ability to translate technical information for all types of audiences
23. Professionally presented with natural gravitas
