Location: Bournemouth
Hours: 36 – 48 hours working Days - (sponsorship is NOT available for this role)
Salary: £22 per hour
We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and experienced Registered Nurse to join the dedicated team at a stunning, modern purpose-built nursing home in Bournemouth. Set in a beautiful location with its own courtyard and gardens, this home is rated ‘GOOD’ by the CQC in all areas and is part of a reputable care provider renowned for delivering exceptional care across all of their homes.
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to residents while leading and supporting the care team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a welcoming and supportive environment with excellent opportunities for career development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver and oversee the provision of outstanding care, ensuring the safety, dignity, and well-being of residents.
2. Responsible for clinical assessment of residents, ensuring appropriate care is planned, implemented, and evaluated, involving residents and users.
3. Lead and support the care team, fostering positive relationships and promoting teamwork.
4. Maintain and adhere to CQC standards in all aspects of your role, ensuring compliance with regulations.
5. Manage and update the electronic care planning systems to ensure accurate and effective care records.
6. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Provide mentoring and support to team members, contributing to the continuous improvement of care standards.
8. Take a proactive approach to your role, ensuring care delivery is well-organized and aligned with individual care plans.
About You:
The ideal candidate will bring a passion for care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues. You will have:
1. A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
2. An active UK NMC pin and up-to-date nursing qualifications.
3. Previous experience with elderly/dementia residents is an advantage.
4. A strong understanding of CQC standards and a commitment to adhering to them in daily practice.
5. Experience with PCS and electronic care planning systems.
6. Great written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective collaboration and understanding.
7. A well-organised and compassionate approach, with a passion for delivering high standards of care and attention to detail.
