Job Description Salary: Base salary: £34,650pa to c.£40,750pa depending on skills and experience. As a Benefits Analyst at HS2 you will be accountable for conducting the technical and analytical aspects of benefits realisation activities in the HS2 programme according to agreed benefits realisation best practice. This includes defining benefits, determining expected values, allocating measures, managing measurement reporting and supporting the development of benefits management capability in HS2 Ltd's delivery teams and the HS2's supply chain. About the role: Support implementation of benefits realisation activity in HS2 projects and programmes including supporting benefit owners understand their role in delivering the benefits of the HS2 scheme. This will include attending relevant meetings with HS2 Ltd leadership and delivery teams. Proactively build and maintain working relationships with colleagues across HS2 Ltd and the HS2 supply chain to support activities related to benefit and dis-benefit identification and quantification, including the identification of new benefits and measures. Analyse and evaluate benefits and realisation progress with consistent forensic techniques producing standard, agreed outputs such as benefit profiles and prepare reports on the benefits management framework and register when required, working with benefit and measure owners. Communicate the progress of benefit owners in delivering the benefits of the HS2 scheme, ensuring that communication styles are adapted to suit the audience, and providing appropriate challenge to stakeholders when action is required to improve performance. About You: Skills: Ability to analyse and interpret data from various sources, identifying and securing appropriate stakeholder inputs, to provide analytical advice to support policy decisions, ensuring that risks are identified. Ability to create a plan for specific tasks, gain agreement to it from stakeholders who need to input into the work, and monitor and deliver against it. Ability to engage with and manage stakeholders and Government on sensitive issues related to Benefits Management.
