We pride ourselves on being a place for everyone, but we are always aiming higher, aspiring to be representative of the communities we serve. Through our people, we are building a culture which embeds trust, respect, and inclusion and an organisation in which people are engaged and empowered to enable National Museums Liverpool to evolve. You could be just the right person to join us.
We currently have the post(s) of Assistant Registrar available.
The key purpose of this role is to support the registrars in the delivery of the legal and statutory administration and documentation of collections. This includes:
1. Contributing to the ongoing incoming and outgoing loans programmes,
2. Exhibition support, and
3. Collections documentation.
You will work to NML and national standards in the management of collections and, on occasion, under the direction of registrars, manage smaller loans, transport, and exhibition activities. You will work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, communicating with agents, suppliers, lenders, borrowers, exhibition, and curatorial colleagues.
